Special PSA by FL State Senators

The Florida Guardian ad Litem Program is proud to present this special public service announcement by State Senators Aaron Bean, R-Fernandina Beach, and Audrey Gibson, D-Jacksonville.

Please note the PSA was shot in February, before the impact of Covid-19 became clear and before the tragic death of Kobe Bryant. We understand communities all over this state are hurting, but wanted to insert a positive note as we begin recovery. We offer this PSA in the spirit of unity that Senators Bean and Gibson exemplify – and which has brought together so many Americans in the face of heartbreak and loss.

We are grateful to the senators, their staffs and to Lisa Kauffman, press secretary of the Florida Senate Majority Office, for their help in making this possible. Thanks also to our Communications Director Margie Menzel who wrote and produced the video and Franko M. Galoso who shot and edited the video. Lastly, thanks to Senator Bean and Senator Gibson for always giving their support to the Guardians ad Litem Program as the states preeminent advocacy program for children in foster care.
