Pictured are Peg Donovan and Don Rausch, Voices for Children board members of the year.

Peg Donovan – Peg has been an active board member since 2012. Peg is currently our secretary, and has been, for several years. In addition to her duties as secretary Peg is also a member of our Normalcy Committee and heads up our By-Laws Committee. During the holiday season, Peg works with the Guardians ad Litem and the staff in Hernando County to insure that the Hernando children receive Christmas gifts. Peg also represents Voices for Children at Guardian ad Litem trainings in Hernando. Peg has assisted with our Quarter Auction and Dinner for several years and, in addition to assisting at the event, has secured donations for the auction in advance of the event. Lastly, were it not for Peg, it is questionable if Voices for Children would continue to receive the grant from Sky Ranch that funds our Normalcy Program.

Don Rausch – Don has been an active member of Voices for Children since 2015. Since joining the board Don, along with his business partner, have been a Platinum sponsor for our Quarter Auction and Dinner. Don has also approached several other organizations that have become sponsors for that event. Don and his associates also provide back to school supplies for the children in Citrus County each year. Don also speaks on behalf of Voices for Children at Guardian ad Litem trainings in Citrus and Hernando County. Don’s company (Caffee & Rausch/Raymond James) also sponsors twenty (20) children in Citrus County for the Angel Tree project and provide each child with toys, games, clothes, shoes, etc. Don has also assisted with the Quarter Auction each year prior to the event and during the event. His own clients attend the event and provide donations and food.
